"The Birds" Remake is a Dead Duck?

A 'WorstPreivews.com' correspondent caught up with the producer for the planned upcoming remake for the classic Alfred Hitchcock film "The Birds". Brad Fuller said that complications are arising, "We keep trying, but I don't know, That's so hard to get the script right. We continue, and we struggle, and I just don't have a ton to say about it until we've got something good."

He is finding it hard to meet up to the work of the mastermind, Alfred Hitchcock. "We lay ourselves out there and get annihilated out there online all day long and that movie just opens us up to a whole different level of annihilation." Fuller explained.

He also doesn't know how to make the birds scary enough for a new audience, "What do they do? They peck and poke and poop. So there's not a lot of variety as to what can happen. You start with the shitting and you build up to pecking and then they poke."

Naomi Watts and George Clooney are already attached to the production that is set for a possible release in 2011.
