"Wall-e" Review

Synopsis:
Once again, another heart-warming tale from Disney and Pixar; It's around 800 years in the future and Wall-e is a lone robot, programmed to clean up rubbish, which by the way has covered the planet. Humans have left on a fleet of space ships leaving Earth behind. Wall-e has been doing his job over and over again, picking up knick-knacks and interesting things along the way. Unexpectedly a sleek and sexy robot named Eve comes along, and they go on an unexpected and exiting adventure of the millennium.

Review:
Disney and Pixar have done it again, this time aiming to a wider audience. A quote from a friend, "This movie is below Pre-School level", is the biggest load of cods-wallop I have ever heard. In no way this film is 100% for children. Just like every other Pixar film, each and every spectacular concept is thought out as cleverly as the next, making this one of the smartest animated movies I've seen. It is intriguing from A to Z.

It features a unique mix of live action with animation. Fantastic, and comedic cameos from Fred Willard and Kathy Najimy add a special touch. This classic is colourful, exiting, fun and best of all, both the parents and the kids will love it.

This film contains a very strong message, but is lectured n a very enjoyable way that never gets boring. This film really shows what animation can do, as the first half of the film contains no dialogue at all, but still manages to tell a very sweet narrative. The relationship between Wall-E and Eve can be quite admirable. This relationship as such, was inspired by "Hello Dolly", in which Wall-e loves and finds very alluring, and which represents to him a very happy and loving human race.

The Verdict:

One of the best films I've seen this year. Pixar seems to be picking up the broken shards from their least-spectacular "Cars" from 2006. This flick is very well done, heart-warming and another Pixar Classic. And it is of course, very cute.
